3,600 barangay, ‘drug-cleared’ na ayon sa PDEA

There were now 3600 barangay that are drug cleared. Brgy Paligsahan has been declared one of the drug cleared 21/142 barangay’s in Quezon City. NCR has cleared 47 out of 1706 barangay’s. Now there are already 3,677 barangay’s that are drug cleared according to PDEA.

They target to have 5272 barangay’s to be drug cleared by the end of the year. According to Dir. Gen Isidro Lapena “The Local Government Unit plays a significant role and without their support and active participation, clearing over drug affected barangay’s will be ineffective.”
