PALACE SAYS TRILLIANES LACK SENSE OF HUMOR FOR TAKING DUTERTE’S CORRUPTION JOKE SERIOUSLY

According to Malacanang, President Duterte was only joking when he said in a speech that he used to be corrupt.

“I think the senator seems to lack of humor regarding that”, This was according to Ernesto Abella.

Abella reacted to Trillianes statement that the Office of the Ombudsman should hasten its investigation on his complaint against Duterte.

Senator Trillianes was referring to Duterte’s speech during the 140th founding anniversary of the Philippine Chinese Charitable Association. “Hindi ako nagmamamlinis, Marami rin akong nanakaw pero naubos na”

Duterte described Trillianes as “hopeless” in his speech at the Philippine Stock Exchange on Tuesday, recalling the lawmaker’s allegation that he has over 200 million in undeclared wealth.
