WITNESS ERNESTO TABOR JR. NAMED THE HIGH PROFILE FIGURES LINKED TO THE MEGA SHABU LABORATORY

The House Committee on Dangerous Drugs pursued their investigation of a mega shabu laboratory in Virac, Catanduanes that was discovered in 2016. Of the prominent officials linked to the shabu lab, former Mayor Constantino Cordial of Caramoan, Camarines Sur was one of them.

It was the witness Ernesto Tabor Jr. who name dropped the high profile figures linked to the mega shabu lab in Virac. Other than Cordial, there is also Alyan Tipong of Catanduanes, Snooky Imperial of Legaspi City, Don Pepe of Tiaong Quezon, and Jun Ranse of Binondo, Manila.

Based on Tabor’s accounts, the shabu lab was built in 2015. From June 2015 to December 2015, they were able to produce 335 kilos of shabu. The initial products were delivered to the New Bilibid Prison.'

Cordial owned a speedboat that was said to be used by Tabor and one other accomplice to deliver drugs. If not a speedboat, they would use a car.

Tabor was formerly an asset of the Philippine National Police and the National Bureau of Investigation.
