GENERAL BATO CRIES AFTER HONTIVEROS ACCUSING PNP'S POLICY TO KILL

Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Director General Ronald "Bato" Dela Rosa turns emotional during the Senate Hearing today, September 5, 2017, after Sen. Risa Hontiveros made a statement that the PNP had a policy to kill all the suspects on their anti-drug operations.

Gen. Bato Dela Rosa couldn't control his emotions after Sen. Risa Hontiveros made some statements accusing the government of the Duterte administration of their alleged policy and intentions to kill every drug suspects with the use of the PNP.

The PNP Chief clarified the issue by confronting Sen. Hontiveros that the PNP did not intend to kill all suspects who tried to fight the PNP and reiterated further that the PNP has no policy to kill and kill every suspects in the government's anti-drugs operations.

Sen. Hontiveros cited the statement of the Public Attorney's Office (PAO) that there is a pattern in the killing of Kian Delos Santos and another victim from Caloocan thereby concluding that there seems to be a policy of the PNP to kill the victims.
