Online Petition calls to immediately remove Senator Trillanes from the Senate

Gordon was determined to pursue the complaint. He recounted the first clash they had with Trillanes and to the other senators.

“He has done that consistently. I already forgave him the first time. He even came to my office and apologized then he did it to Mr. Zubiri. Then he was trying to do it to Cayetano, he was trying to turn off the microphone,” Gordon said.

“I’m sorry hindi lahat ng araw sa’yo,” the senator added.

“I will file personally an ethics complaint against the gentleman from Bicol,” Gordon said. Moreover, the Mindavote page started an online petition to remove Senator Trillanes in his post. They urged followers to signed the petition and support it by sharing.

Six hours as of posting, the petition already gathered more than 14, 000 of supporters.

In the said petition, it stated,

“Antonio Trillanes’ obsession with President Rodrigo Duterte and his family needs to be stopped as it is already interfering with the vital work of the senate. The whole nation is now being held hostage by one man’s megalomaniacal delusions. Trillanes is a menace to society. How long will the senate allow him to drag the institution through the mud just to satisfy his personal vendetta

Sen. Richard Gordon has said that he will file a complaint against Trillanes before the Senate Ethics Committee and move for his expulsion.

We now urge the good Senator to make good on his threat, and do the entire nation a public service by removing Trillanes from the Senate in the same manner he left the Armed Forces of the Philippines- in utter disgrace.”

Meanwhile, Gordon also released statements on his Facebook page. He lamented his sentiments towards Trillanes and explained his side over the matter.
