Sen. Grace Poe is urging the Senate to look into the rules of social networking sites such as Facebook to ensure that it does not violate the Filipinos’ right to freedom of information.

Poe, chair of the Senate committee on public information and mass media, made the statement after Facebook removed the posts of Manila Bulletin columnist Tonyo Cruz and educator Gang Badoy condemning the alleged compromise deal between the government and the Marcoses over their alleged ill-gotten wealth.
