Most Wanted Robber And Killer In Makati City: Do You Still Want To Give Another Chance To Live?

Makati City’s No.1 most wanted and No.2 most wanted in the Southern Police District (SPD), Allein Hussein Sumudlayon aka Bryan Malanlayon, was arrested by police who were conducting Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Operations (SACLEO) in Barangay Rizal, Makati City, last Tuesday.

Mr. Sumudlayon has a series of warrant of arrest for rape,robbery, and homicide in Metro Manila. He was in the video who killed a call center agent Leonile Zara and targeted her on the head because the victim didn’t give up her belongings.

According to Makati Police Chief Gerry Umayao, after the arrest of Sumadlayon, they recovered from him one caliber .38 with four live ammunition, and a piece of paper with a list of different times and a corresponding streets, which police suspected to be his next targets.

Due to a series of robberies in Metro Manila, netizens called the attention of authorities and political leaders to bring back the death penalty in the Philippines since these criminals have nothing to fear, and anyway, they are also ready to die for what for their actions.

In a blog post of Mr. Alon Calinao Dy, he said, “these criminals have no hearts for their victims. They don’t care if they kill you because it’s their job and I think they are ready for the consequences of their actions. I think these criminals if police caught them they would not reveal their other members. They would simple say that they do it alone. I think Capital punishment should be restored right away.”

A majority of Filipinos wanted to have a Death Penalty in the country, but it seems our lawmakers, most of them, do not want it. Because of some religious leaders who wanted to intervene about the government’s decision when it comes to that controversial issue, the implementation of capital punishment will take a long journey before it becomes a reality.
