ICC, ANYARE? PAAWA EFFECT?! -- ICC, Nagmakaawa sa Pilipinas: "Please Don't Quit!"

According to a message received by Inquirer from the International Criminal Court (ICC), the ICC said the Philippines is an "important State Party" and "integral part" of the international criminal justice system.

"The Court encourages the Philippines to not follow through with the reported intention to withdraw, as it is an important State Party to the Rome Statute, and as such an integral part of the international criminal justice system aimed at ending impunity for and helping prevent the gravest crimes under international law," according to ICC.

The Liberal Party wanted President Rodrigo Duterte to be ousted through the help of ICC. The opposition's plans didn't succeed when the Philippines decided to withdraw the ICC membership. According to the President, the ICC is a one-sided court. President Duterte's move was greatly appreciated by most Filipinos.

This is the reaction of our people in the ICC's appeal:

Gratil George: Who's next to withdraw?hahah shame on you..is ICC help us in our drug problem?ciempre ndi eh kndi b nman mga tanga ecconvict nio s du30 ng wlang proper investigation dhil lang sa report ng mga anti du30 ..tae nio ano ngaun kumalas na e di checkmate kau.. Even ROME STATUTE what is that in the first place imposing the Rome style of governance, rome values rome deals aspiration to its citizen as models its insane, impractical snd cultural relativism , each country has its own culture and beliefs and its unfair ti impose european set standard to others its about time withdraw from ICC we can fix our own country without them..

Puro kayo "attack"! Kailangan me sintido kumon noh?

Neo Drinanmad: ICC can continue with their kangaroo court but, once the ruling is out, PH will just issue a statement not recognizing the ruling based on the following grounds:

1. It violates our Constitution since it states that our president is immune to suits. Our Constitution lords supreme over any national or international laws.

2. It violates the rule of complementarity since we have a working and independent judiciary.

3. It violates the rule that ICC is the court of last resort. It has no primary jurisdiction on this matter but our judiciary.

4. The complaint is obviously politically motivated to usher regime change in the country since it was filed by an opposition politician with clear intention of removing the president. Our president can only be removed through an impeachment process not through ICC.

Based on the above reasons, PH will not recognize the ICC ruling as it is fraudulent, unconstitutional and politically motivated.

Boooom!!! It's dead on the water. Cry for 4 more years, b*tches!
